Gertrude, and Walter. Born in Germany (July 1852), married 25 years; 11 children all
still living; immigrated in 1877; speaks English and can read and write.

Death Certificate--- died 12-31-1916; cause of death is illegible; married; born
7-15-1852 in Germany; lived at 426 S. Madison for 7 years, lived 41 years in IL; died
at St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford IL; buried in Cedar Bluff Cemetery in Rockford.

FUNERAL TOMORROW FOR MRS. AUGUSTA PAHALY

Died Sunday afternoon at St. Anthony Hospital of Pneumonia

Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Mrs. Augusta Pahaly, 426 South Madison
Street, who passed away Sunday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock at St. Anthony Hospital,
where she had been a patient for about three weeks, suffering from pneumonia. Rev.
H.M. Bannen will officiate at 1 o'clock and burial will be held in the Cedar Bluff
Cemetery.
Mrs Pahaly was born in Germany July 15, 1852 and for the past 41 had made her
home in this country. Until her remove to Rockford seven years ago, she resided in
Ogle Co. near Lindenwood. Surviving the deceased are nine children: Mrs. J.E.
Wennerstrom and Walter Pahaly at home, Henrey of North Dakota, Charles of New
Milford, Fredrick of Esmond and Mrs. Emma Wakenight of this city. Fourteen
Grandchildren also survives. Two sisters, Bertha and Clara died several years ago.
