Esmond, Nov 11--- Mrs George Pahaly of Esmond, ILL for the past eightyears and
critically ill for two weeks, passed away at 2:00 o'clock this morning at her farm
home three miles east of Esmond. Although not in the best of health for several years
Mrs Pahaly was able to be around until a serious infection developed in one ear about
two weeks ago. It was impossible to check the infection which spread,causing partial
paralyses and led to her passing.

Inez Vodden was the youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs. Fred Vodden, being born
on the homestead south of Esmond on January 2, 1892. She was married to George
Pahaly on January 14, 1913 and the home has been made on a farm in the Esmond

Her death was mourned by her Husband, four daughters, Mrs Ila Busse of Esmond,
Marian, Viola, and Hazel at home, a Granddaughter, Constance Busse, two sisters,
Mrs. John Hutchison of Esmond and Mrs. Al W. Barnes of Sycamore and alarge
circle of friends. Mrs Pahaly was active in the Ladies Aid and the Church in Esmond
when her health permitted.

Funeral services are to be held on Friday at 1:00 o'clock from the house and at 1:30
from the church in Esmond. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at Creston
