PREW-PARKER On August 12th, at All Saints' Church, Penarth, Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Prew, Bolton to Nancy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parker, "Lasswade," Forrest Road, Penarth.

Then after the wedding, the following announcement appeared in the local Penarth paper:
Local Wedding
Prew-Parker
Mr. Thomas Prew, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Prew, of Bolton, was married on Saturday at All Saints Church, Penarth, to Miss Nancy Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Parker, of Lasswade, Forrest Road, Penarth.
Dressed in a black crepe georgette gown with a black picture hat trimmed with pink, the bride, who wore a spray of pink roses, was given away by her father. She was attended by Miss Molly Parker (sister), who wore a brown silk gown with a spray of yellow tea roses, and a natural shade straw picture hat. The best man was Mr. Arthur Prew (bridegroom's brother).
Following the ceremony by the Rev Thos. Jones (Vicar), who was assisted by the Rev. Harry John, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, after which the couple left for a touring honeymoon. The bride's going away outfit was a grey costume with black accessories. The bridegroom's gift was a silver fox fur.
Mr. and Mrs. Prew will make their home in Bristol.
